Mike Erickson ran the hospital from 2022 to last spring, and he took a job running MyMichigan’s Saginaw, Tawas and Standish hospitals afterward.

Nostrant has served as president and CEO of Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center in Newberry since 2015. He previously held leadership roles at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault and Precision Edge Surgical Products. He and his wife, Whitley, live in Alpena and enjoy watching their children, Bryton and Brielle, play sports.

Physicians at the alpena medical center are board-certified in family medicine. Other providers in the clinic are certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners. They are licensed by the state of Michigan and are members of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
