If you have no health insurance, but are looking for affordable care, the Alpena Health Center may be a good option for you. This nonprofit health center is owned and operated by MidMichigan Health System, which has branded many of the local clinics in Northeast Michigan. They are currently building a new patient tower, which will include 60 private rooms, eight intensive care unit beds, eight labor and delivery rooms, 44 medical beds, and 18 prep and recovery rooms. There will also be five operating rooms.
