Alpena Health Center – Medical, Dental and Behavioral Healthcare

Located in Alpena, MI District Health Department #4 provides senior care services. Licensed nurses and medical aids assist with daily activities of living and administer medication. They also provide home care for their clientele. They are accredited by Medicare and the State of Michigan. They have been in business since 1966.

This facility accepts all major insurances and has an income based sliding fee.

MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena is a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) with an integrated approach to medical, dental and behavioral healthcare. MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena has participated in the Leapfrog Hospital Quality Star Rating program since 2011. It is committed to providing quality healthcare for all, regardless of ability to pay.

The Alpena Health Center is a non profit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center offering medical, dental and behavioral healthcare in northeastern Michigan. They offer in person and telehealth appointments. Medicaid, Medicare and most PPO insurances are accepted, as well as a low cost self-pay option.

A new ‘Acute Care’ clinic is available at the Alpena Service location to assist patients who need same day or next day care for non emergency issues. Appointments can be made by calling the office or booking online using Solv. This clinic is open Monday through Saturday.

Sarah Rings, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner who practices family medicine. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Grand Valley State University and her Master’s degree from Central Michigan University. She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Courtney Witulski, FNP-BC is a Family Nurse Practitioner who practices family health. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare from Alpena Community College and went on to complete her Master’s degree at Ferris State University. She is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Vicki Konczak-Miltz, LPC CAADC, NCC, CCS-DP is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who sees both in-person and telehealth patients. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a member of the National Council of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Council of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
