This location is the headquarters for Alcona Health Center. It has a staff of approximately 100. They are well-versed in the latest treatments and procedures, as well as the most current insurance practices. The team at this location is dedicated to building healthier communities. They also support local schools and sporting events.

The facility is currently constructing a pediatric care building on its campus in Alpena Township on U.S. 23 North. The 6,400-square-foot facility will house two pediatric nurse practitioners and one child and adolescent psychiatrist. The project has received a $845,411 American Rescue Plan Act grant from the federal government. Construction is expected to be completed by early 2024. It will have its own address and driveway, but it will be connected to other Alcona Health Center buildings on the same property. The facility will be located next to the emergency department and adjacent to a clinic for adults with complex care needs.
