ARMC awarded accreditation

By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission‘s national standards for health care quality and safety, Alpena Regional Medical Center has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for the hospital and home care.

"The community should be proud that ARMC is focusing on the most challenging goal—to continuously raise quality and safety to higher levels."

In addition, ARMC was evaluated against a set of national standards by The Joint Commission’s surveyor experienced in the delivery of home care services and received a Gold Seal of Approval.

The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced, on-site evaluation of ARMC in January. The accreditation award recognizes ARMC’s dedication to complying with The Joint Commission’s state-of-the-art standards on a continuous basis.
