Diabetes Education

Alpena Regional Medical Center’s Diabetes Center is a leader in providing comprehensive diabetes self-management training to all people with diabetes and their families in Northern Michigan. A comprehensive insulin pump program and individualized treatment of children with diabetes are a few of the specialized programs available. Education is provided in compliance with the American Diabetes Association Standards. The Diabetes Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association and certified by Michigan Department of Community Health which allows us to bill most insurance companies for education costs.
