Auxiliary

The ARMC Auxiliary Volunteers are the largest and most diversified volunteer organization at Alpena Regional Medical Center. There are nearly 300 members of the ARMC Volunteers who donate their time to benefit Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Auxiliary General Membership meetings are at noon on the fourth Thursday of every month from September through May. Meetings are in the hospital auditorium and are open to the public.

In addition to the in-service volunteer opportunities described in this brochure the Auxiliary sponsors numerous fundraising activities during the year. Over 1 million dollars has been given to ARMC for purchase of equipment and to fund special projects. Fund raising events include: Christmas Tree Ball, Koeze Nut Sale, Uniform Sale, New Book Sale, and Flower Sale. These events provide great opportunities for those with limited time available to make a significant contribution to the future success of ARMC over a short period of time.\
